DISPEACE, n. Dissension, enmity, disquiet (Sc. 1825 Jam.2). Orig. Sc. but since mid-19th cent. accepted as Eng.Nai. 1828 W. Gordon Poems 111:
Dispeace is often ruling here.
Edb. 1881 J. Smith Habbie and Madge 27:
Hoo muckle strife an' dispeace micht be prevented.

Hence dispeaceful, adj.Sc. 1892 R. Wallace in Sc. Leader (29 Jan.) 6:
A messenger of that dispeaceful divinity [the goddess of strife].
