Cokstule, Cockstule, n. Also: cokstuil, -steuil, stoole, kokstwile; cockstulle, -stuill, -stooll, -stool(e, -stole, -stoll, kockstoole. [e.m.E. cockstoll, ME. cokestowle, cokstol (c 1320), variants of cu(c)kstool Cukstule.
