Pik-, Pykit, -yt, ppl. a. Also: piyk- and -et. [ME. and e.m.E. piked (Manning), pykid (north., c 1447) pointed, tapering.]

1. Of a quarrel: Contrived, ‘picked’ (cf. Pike v.1 4). a1500 Henr. Fab. 2747 (Bann.).
