ILL-COME, adj. 1. Gained by wrongful or dishonest means, ill-gotten (Abd.7 1925; n., em.Sc.(a) 1958). Cf. Eng. ill-come-by.
2. Illegitimate, bastard (Mry., Bnff., Abd. 1958). Also ill-come-by (Ags., Fif. 1946), ill-kom-o (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.).
