I. n. A thump, crash; a violent fall (Bnff. 1880 Jam.); a resounding blow, a whack (Sh. 1965).Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 122:
He fell aff o'the hehd o'the hoose wee a pardoos.

II. adv. Violently, with great force, with a crash (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 122).
