UNLUCKY, adj. ne.Sc. usage, gen. in collocation with foul: slatternly, having a tendency to get into a mess, slovenly (Abd. 1973). Hence unluckiness, untidiness, slovenliness.Abd.14 1915:
She's a foul unlucky trollop. She's a terrible jad, that, for unluckiness.Abd. 1970:
He's a foul unlucky bairn, that, aye gettin intil a sotter.
