Also: hatrente, hatt(e)rent, haterand, hait(t)erent, -ant; hat-, haittrend, het(t)erend, hettrand, hetrand, -re(i)nt, hettrent, heitrent, heytrent, haitrene, hatredyn, hathrent, hattering. [ME. hat(e)redyn, hatereden (a 1300), f. hate Hate n. and OE. rǽden condition. The Sc. form -rend, by metathesis from reden, is more original than -rent, but later in use and less frequent.] Hatred.(a) c1400 Troy-bk. ii. 1112.
