Inputting, -puting, vbl. n. Also: inputtin, -puttyn(e, -pwttyn, -putyn, -pittin; ine poteing. [f. Input v. Cf. Imputting.] The action of putting in (a person or thing) in senses of the verb.(1) 1495 Acts Lords of Council 385/1.
