Ithandly, Ythandly, Ithanly, adv. Also: -lie, ythanly, ythenly, ithinglie. [Northern ME. iþenli, iþinlic (Cursor M.), otherwise appar. only Sc. Cf. Idandlie.] Assiduously, diligently, persistently; constantly, continuously, incessantly, without intermission.(a) 1375 Barb. vi. 327 (E).
