Duleful, Duilful, a. Also: dol-, doulful, dulful(l, -fule, dullful; dulefull, -fule, duylful(l, duil-, deulfull. [ME. dol-, doul-, dul-, duleful (14th c.), variants of doleful, e.m.E. dooleful Dool(e)ful.]
