Chaudmellé, -mella(y, n. Also: chawdmelle, -mella, chaudemella(y, chauldemelly, chadmellye, cha(i)dmelle; chatmel. [OF. chaude mellee ‘heated affray’.] A sudden angry broil or affray.1373 Acts I. 184/1.
