The works of J K Annand
J K Annand (1908-1993) was a Scottish writer, poet and translator. He generously bequeathed the rights to his work, and royalties from it, to the Scottish National Dictionary Association, one of the predecessor companies of Dictionaries of the Scots Language. He was particularly known for his Scots poems for children, and his publications include the following collections:
- Bairn Rhymes (1998), originally published in 1989 as A Wale o Rhymes
- Sing it Aince for Pleisure (1970)
- Twice for joy (1973) and
- Thrice to Show Ye (1979)
We are very pleased to be the custodians of all his work and will be delighted to receive requests to reproduce it.
