Contigue, a. Also: -tigew, -tegue. [F. contigu, L. contiguus.]
1. Contiguous in space; adjacent.Sometimes in quasi-adverbial use = in contiguity. Also freq. in ly or lyand contigue.(1) 1489 Acta Aud. 146/1.
