Convocatioun, -acioun, n. Also: -atione, -acion(e. [ME. convocacioun (1387), -acyon, etc., OF. convocation, L. convocātio.]
1. The action of calling together or assembling a number of persons by summons; the fact of gathering in this manner. 1471 Acta Aud. 20/1.
