Courtin(e, Courting, n. Also: courtyn(e, -tyng, -teing, kourting, cowrting, -yng; cour-, cowrthing. [ME. courtyne, -ine (also cort-, curtine, etc.), OF. courtine, cortine, L. cortīna. The forms in -ing, -yng, are the usual ones during the 16th cent. See also Cortyne, Curtyne, and Courtain, Courtene.]
