Heicht, a. Also: hecht, heichtt, heycht, height. [Variant of Heich a., with excrescent -t. Cf. Hicht a.] = Heich a., in various senses.The form heycht generally represents an editorial expansion of the contracted spelling heyt in the manuscripts.(1) a1400 Leg. S. iv. 360.
