Infeild, Infeld, n. Also: innefield, infeyld. [In adv.] The field or land lying nearest to the farm or homestead. Freq. coupled with Outfeild. Also attrib. with land, aitis (oats), fodder, corne.(1) 1548 Red Bk. Menteith II. 334.
