Lod(i)ning, Loaden(n)ing, Loadn(e)ing, -nen, vbl. n. [Anglicized var. of Ladining, after loaden Lodin v.] a. The act of loading a ship. Bill of lodning, = bill of lading. b. concr. The load or cargo of a ship; also, a ship-load (of a commodity).a. (1) 16.. Admir. Ct. Form 63 b.
