Od(d)is, n. pl. Also: oddes, od(d)s, oidis. [e.m.E. oddes (1542), od(d)s, plur. of Od a. as n.Sense 2 is appar. only Sc.]

1. To make (a person's) oddis evin, ‘to equalise or level his inequalities’, to adjust, atone for or remit his shortcomings or transgressions. c1500-c1512 Dunb. lxxxv. 56.
