War(r)andice, n. Also: warrandyse, -yce, -is(e, warandys(e, -is(e, -ize, -es, varrandice, -is, -ece, varandice, -is, -e(i)s, wairandice, vairandice, werrandis(e, verrandyis. [e.m.E. warrandise (1512), warandice, warandise (both 1565), AF warandise, var. of warantise, OF also garantise.]
