Quhingar, -er, n. Also: quhyng-, whing-, quying-; quheng-, quheing- and -are; -ir; -re; quhynggar. Also north-east variants: fungar, funger, phingar. [Var. of Quhinȝar n. Cf. Quhingear, Quhanger n.For the pronunciation see the rhymes with fingers and slingers (quots.
