Quantité, Quantitie, n. Also: -itee, -ity, -yte(e, -ytie, qwantyté, -itie, quhantitie, quhaintaté, quante-, quantaté, -tie. [ME (Cursor M.) and e.m.E. quantite, e.m.E. quantitie, -ity, F. quantité (12th c.), L. quantitāt-.] Quantity, magnitude, in various specific applications.
1. Size, dimensions. Of anything, including the stature of a person or animal, of a definite three dimensional size.(1) 1375 Barb. xvii 618 (E).
