Ȝowris, Yowris, possess. pron. Also: ȝour(i)s, ȝhouris, -es, your(i)s, yourris, yhouris. [ME and e.m.E. y(o)urs (both Cursor M.), youres (c1300), yourez (c1440), yowrys (c1465), yowrs (1516); f. Ȝowr possess. adj.] Yours, sing. and pl.

1. Used predicatively or absolutely: That (person or thing) those (people or things) belonging to you. Also with of. b. In the subscription of a letter. Cf. Ȝowr possess. adj. 1 e.(1) 1375 Barb. i 497.
