Ourgiving, -gevin(g, vbl. n. Also: oure-, owr(e)and -giffin, -yn; -gevyn(g, -yne, -geffin, -gewin, -yne, -geiffing. [Cf. Overgiv(e)ing.] Giving up, resignation, in applications of Ourgive v.; also, surrender of the charge (of a castle).(1) 1465 Wemyss Chart. 88.
