Unicorn, n. Also: unicornn, -corne, unycorn, wnicorne, ounycorn, iunicorn, inicorne. [ME and e.m.E. unicorne (Ancr. R.), vnicorn (c1315), vnycorn (Wyclif), OF unicorne, L. ūnicornis having a single horn, late L. ūnicornuus the unicorn.]
