1. Pertaining to two persons or groups of persons reciprocally; reciprocal, mutual.In various specific applications, as: generally, of relationships, sentiments, actions; of quarrelling, assault or the like; of the marriage contract; of legally binding contracts or agreements; of the reciprocal benefits or undertakings (‘causes’) in such a contract which make it a ‘mutual’ one.(1) 1513 Lett.
