PRUSSIA, v. To beat in a brutal manner, cudgel, thrash, vanquish.Sc. 1758 Session Papers, Petition A. Smith (19 Dec.) 6:
Holding up his Cudgel, [he] made his Brag how tightly he had Prussia'd the Petitioner with that Instrument.

[A coined word in topical reference to the strong-armed expansionist policy of Prussia under Frederick the Great in the Seven Years' War, 1756–63.]
