Aclock, Acloak, adv. phr. Also: a clok (aclok), a cklok; acloack, a cloake, acclock. [Late ME. a clocke (1480), var. of o clocke: see Clock n. In Eng. use as late as c 1750. The forms with oa represent the close o of certain districts.] Of the clock, o'clock. 1611 Criminal Trials III. 169.
