Chesabil(l, -apill, n. Also: chesybill, -yll, chessabil(l, chezabil, ches(s)able, chasiable, chesabel(l, -obell, -ible; chissable, chizabill; chesipill, -epill, cheissepbill, chesaple, -ople. [ME. chesabyll, -apyll (15th c.), chesyble, cheisible (c 1300), chesiple, etc., OF. chesible, variant of chasuble. See also Chesseb.] A chasuble.(a) c1420 Wynt. v. 1256.
