Dispens, Dispence, v. Also: despens, dispense. [ME. dispense (Wyclif), -pence, despense (Chaucer), OF. dis-, despenser, L. dispensāre.]
1. intr. To arrange or deal with a person by way of concession, exemption, or remission.c1420 Wynt. v. 780.
