Fallow deir, Fallaw deir, n. Also: fellow deire, fellowe deir, fellow deare, fellow deer; follou deir; phola deare. [e.m.E. falow der (16th c.). The more usual Sc. form is fellow deir (probably by erroneous Anglicizing of fallow dere).] Fallow deer. (a) 1535 Stewart 16838.
