Jouking, vbl. n. Also: jowking, -yng, juking. The action of Jouk v. a. Ducking, bending to avoid a missile, etc. b. Bobbing downward as in genuflexion or making an obeisance; bowing. c. fig. Dodging, shiftiness, dissembling.a. 1513 Doug. x. xiv. 144.
