Ogeour, Oger, Odger, n. Also: oggerur, owger, odyer. [? Irreg. f. F. ogive (OF. œgive (1325), augive (1459), etc.), ME. oggif (1357–8), e.m.E. ogive (1611), a diagonal groin or rib of a vault; and cf. also late ME. ogge (1428–9), e.m.E. ogee (1611), ? orig. id., later (1677) = ogee moulding.] ? An ogee arch or a moulding which when double (also doubill oger) constituted such an arch; a stone cut for an arch of this kind. b. Ogeour-pend, ? a stone for vaulting associated with this form of arch.1517 Treas. Acc. V. 121.
