Pouder, Pulder, Poulder, -ir, v. Also: powd(d)er-; puldr-, pouldr-. [ME and e.m.E. puder (a 1300), pouder, powder (both 14th c.), e.m.E. also poulder, F. poudrer cover with powder (13th c. in Hatz.-Darm.), f. poudre Pouder n.] tr. To powder, in various senses.

1. tr. To sprinkle (a surface) with (some powder).c1500-c1512 Dunb. Flyt. 192 (M).
