(Raindere,) Rayn(e)-, Ranedere, -deir, n. Also: ran-, reyn- and -deire, -deyr, -der. [ME rayne dere (a1400), late ME reyndere (Lydgate), e.m.E. rayne deare (1572), ‘ultim. repr.
