Rak(k)et, n. Also: racket(t, -at, rakcat. [e.m.E. racket (1540), raquet (1574), F. raquette (1450 in this sense) f. rachette the palm of the hand, Sp. raqueta, It. racchetta, Arabic rāha.] a.
