Rasur(e, Razure, n. [Late ME (c1400) and e.m.E. rasure, razure.] The act of scraping out something written; an erasure. c1575 Balfour Pract. 187.
Rasure, quhilk sould be cheiflie eschewit in four places, viz. in the proper names [etc.] 1582 Misc. Stair Soc. I 104.
The 4. and 5. are foundit upone the rasure and new wryting of the chairtour 1582 Ib. 108.
