Rimin dish. (Cf. later Sc. dial. rimmer a wooden band or hoop employed to shape a cheese. But perh. erron. for rinnin (= Rin(n)ing vbl. n. 5), and so to be connected with such processes as straining, brewing, making rennet, or the like. Cf. Rinnar n. 7.) —1697 Household Bk. Gr. Baillie 168.
