Schankit, ppl. adj. [S(c)hank v. Cf. e.m.E. schanke S(c)hank n., also stem of a goblet.] As the second element of a compound in lang-schankit, having a long stem, see Lang adj.1 2 g, and tailȝour-schankit, having legs like a tailor. —a1568 Bann. MS 140a/36.
