(Sekar,) Seikar, -er, n. [ME and e.m.E. secher (c1330), seker (Cath. Angl.), seeker (1567).] One who looks for, tries to obtain, approaches, applies to, etc., in various applications of Sek(e v.1565 Edinb. Univ. MS La.iii.388a, fol. 27b.
