Sex, n.2 [Obscure: for the second element cf. Grup n. and Grupping vbl. n. Cf. also the later Shetland dial. as grüpet-an-sekket.] A tongue or projection running along one side of a plank which fits into the groove running along the side of an adjacent plank.
