(Sleke,) Slieck, n.1 [Prob., as SND and OED suggest, f. sleek or even measure (1794) (SND Sleek adj. 1 (1), cf. also Sleek v. 2 and Sleek n.1 3), MFlem. sleec, sleic even with the top of the vessel.
