Slump, n. [LG slump a heap, mass, quantity (im slump köpen to buy in the lump), = Du. slomp. Also in the later dial.] To pay in the slump, to pay in a lump sum. Also attrib. with bargain in the same sense. —1679 Rec. Old Aberd. II 71.
