Also: taburnar, tabernar, tabirnar, taborna(i)r, tabronar, -er, tabrounor, tabrinnar, tawbernar, tawburnar, tawbronar, -er, taubronar, taubrounar, tawbonar(e, talbernar, talburnar, -eir, talbanar, talbonar, -er, taburrer, tabourier, tabuorior, (tavernare, -er). [ME and e.m.E. taborere (1285-95), tabourer (1300), taberer (c1400), taberner (1450), taburner, tabernar (both 1483), OF taboreor, taborneur.] One who plays the Taburn(e, a drummer.Some examples may be personal names.(a) 1330 Exch.
