Taxt-roll, n. Also: taxtt- and -row. [Tax(t n. and Rol(l n.1 4.] A register or list of persons, property, etc. liable for tax together with the amount of tax payable on any particular occasion, freq. with reference to the liability of the royal burghs.1545 Reg. Privy C. I 21.
