Thar(e)-, Ther(e)-. As with Thar(e adv., this first element in combination with adverbs and prepositions was frequently abbreviated in manuscripts and, in many, esp. early, instances expansion to thar-, ther-, etc. is purely editorial. Such manuscript conventions may also have been used in the second elements of these adverbs.
