Twelf pa(i)rt, Tuelf pairt, Tuel(f)t part, n. Also: twalf(f-, twolff-, twal pairt, twelf parte. [Twelf num., Twelft(e adj. and Part n.] A twelfth portion of something, chiefly in reference to land. Also attrib. Cf. Twelf num. A 4.(a) 1494 Acta Aud. 204/1.
