Underscriber, -scryber, -scriver, -scryver, n. [17th c. Eng. underscriber (1687); Scriver n. (a scribe or secretary).] One whose name is given below; the undersigned. = Under-subscriver n. —(a) 1658 Argyll Synod II 179.
