Walx makar, Wax maker, n. Also: walx makker, waxmakare, wakis maker, walk makare. [Late ME and e.m.E. whax-maker (15th c.), wax maker (Cath. Angl.).] A maker of wax and artifacts made of wax. Also as a personal name. 1443 Exch. R. V 130.
