Awake, Awaik, v. Also: avak. P. t. awoke, awoyk, awoik, avoik, awouk, awuke, avak; awakit. [ME. awake, early ME. awakie(n), OE. áwacian (p.t. áwóc): see Wake v. The p.t. awoik, etc., may belong here or to Awalk v.1]
